Don't want to have to select filters every time you watch something on VidAngel? Then Default Filters are for you! These filters will apply to every new title that you watch.
This also means if you set your Default Filters, watch a movie, and then change your Default Filters, the filters will not be changed on that specific movie. In other words, your changes will only apply to all shows you have not yet watched. You can, of course, update the filters with the Show-Specific filters.
Please be aware that Show-Specific filters will always override Default Filters.
How to set your Default Filters
Default Filters can be applied in our mobile app or on the website. They cannot be adjusted on the TV apps.
- Open the Default Filters page.
MOBILE
On the mobile app, tap on the "Filters" button at the bottom menu of the app.
On the website click "Default Filters" on the top of your screen.
WEBSITE - Once you're on the Default Filters page, select your filters by clicking the filter category, subcategory, or individual filter you want to apply. When the filter is activated, it will be applied to each new title you watch.
You know the filter is activated if the filter description is dimmed and has a line through it. This means you will not see or hear those items. If the filter is white and fully visible, you will see and hear those items. - Click "Save" and start watching without all the bad stuff!
