If you are looking for a specific show on VidAngel, but can't seem to find it (e.g. Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Marvel movies, etc.), here are some reasons:
- There is a typo in your search.
We know it happens. Make sure that your title has the correct spelling and punctuation. Try entering a space after the title if your search is not pulling up anything.
- We cannot offer titles owned by the Plaintiffs in our former lawsuit.
At this time, we cannot stream works owned by Disney, Lucas Films, Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, New Line Cinemas, Turner Pictures, and their subsidiaries. You can read about the end of the lawsuit here. You are welcome to reach out to the studios and ask them to allow VidAngel to filter for you. We'd love the opportunity to offer everything you'd like to watch with filters.
- We DO have some of the Marvel movies! Check out which titles and why, here: Can I Watch Marvel Movies on VidAngel?
- We simply do not have the title yet.
Our Taggers have to go through each title to add the filters, which can take time, but we are working hard every day to add more, so keep checking back! You can also request titles by sending us a message HERE. We'll pass along your request to our Content Team.
- You are using VidAngel outside the United States.
Unfortunately, we cannot formally support our service outside of the United States. This is in part because Netflix and Amazon differ so much from country to country and we currently connect with the U.S. versions of Netflix and Amazon. (i.e. A title may show as available on the UK version of Netflix, but it may not have been released in the USA.)
- A title shows up, but says "FILTERS NEEDED"
This means we have filters created for this title, but it was removed from the platforms with which we connect. In other words, Netflix and/or Amazon had a title on their service, we created filters for it and put it up on VidAngel, but later it was removed from the streaming service. When this happens VidAngel has no way for you to access it, unless it is put up again by one of the streaming services.
